Roommate Ready Apartments
Living with a roommate shouldn’t mean sharing a bathroom or feeling crowded. Pointe Grand’s floor plans give each roommate their own bedroom and private bath, with shared living spaces big enough to actually share.
The sweet spot for roommates
Most roommate households need 1,000 to 1,200 square feet to feel like two people live there, not one person and a guest. At 1,170 square feet, the Pointe Grand floor plan lands right in that range.
2 bedrooms. 2 baths. Modern Features.
-
Equal square footage, real closets, and true livability in both rooms. No main bedroom and a tiny afterthought next to it.
-
Just tap in, no spare key needed. Many homes add a Wi-Fi thermostat too, so ask your leasing team for more info.
-
Two full sinks and two mirrors, so getting ready together in the morning never means getting in each other’s way.
-
The open layout already gives everyone their own space, so no one’s Zoom call takes over the living room. The business center downstairs is there for a change of scenery.
-
Plenty of counter space to spread out, cook together, and test out your gourmet recipes.
-
Your own laundry space, in your own unit, with real room to spare instead of a closet you have to squeeze into.
Live Grand for Less
Cut your housing cost significantly
Split the base rent down the middle and your individual monthly cost drops right away compared to renting a one-bedroom solo.
Split every bill, not just rent
Electric, water, trash, and internet all divided by two. The fixed cost becomes a fraction of what you’d carry alone.
Obtain the upgrade for less
Quartz countertops, a resort-style pool, and stainless steel appliances. On a single income it stretches the budget. Split two ways, it just makes sense.

Questions Roommates Ask
Income is evaluated at the household level; combined gross income across all applicants generally needs to reach 3x the monthly rent, but each individual roommate still goes through their own credit and background screening. Requirements can vary slightly by community, so contact our leasing team for the exact figures at the property you’re considering.
Yes — each approved lease holder receives their own key fob and mailbox key at move-in. Lost or additional copies can be issued for a small replacement fee. Contact our leasing team for the exact process and pricing at your community.
Most Pointe Grand communities allow one vehicle per licensed resident on the lease, with open parking included and covered or garage parking available for an additional monthly fee at many communities. Availability and pricing are property-specific — contact our leasing team to confirm what’s offered at your community.
Adding a roommate means going through the same application and income screening as any other applicant; remaining roommates only need to cover the new person’s income if that person is replacing the primary leaseholder. Removing a roommate mid-lease requires a roommate release form signed by everyone on the lease, and if that roommate’s income helped the household qualify, they can’t be released until a sufficient replacement is in place. Contact our leasing team to get started with either process.
Across Pointe Grand communities, a guest who stays more than 14 consecutive days generally needs to be added to the lease and go through screening. It’s a simple rule designed to keep every household’s lease accurate — contact our leasing team if you’re expecting a longer-term guest so we can walk you through next steps.
Pointe Grand leases are joint and several. One lease covers the whole apartment, and everyone named on it shares full responsibility for the total rent, not just their own room. This is standard for conventional multifamily communities (unlike by-the-bed student housing), so it’s worth discussing openly with roommates before you sign. Our leasing team can walk you through exactly what that means for your household.
